Made of dreams,
Or jars filled with stars
With salt that burns our raw scars
Not sweetly melted sugar
This is sickly and bitter
With one jar of rain

Empty
Rain is sweet
Rain is pure
Unlike this
A moment where time flies
And the glowing cigarette burns skin
With a mouth

Once in a hospital

With toxic fluids running into the veins
Of the innocent
The halls
They are empty
And I might yell for help
The flowers you gave me 3 years ago
They have faded
Rotten
Fallen apart
Like our love

The ghosts in these empty places know it
